Dr. Danielle Moore
Dr. Moore spent her childhood in a small rural town in upstate New York
at the base of the Adirondack Mountains. Upon graduating high school, she
moved to the coast of southern Maine where she earned a Bachelor of Science
degree with a double major in marine Biology and Medical Biology at the
University of New England. She attended veterinary school at Iowa State
University School of Veterinary Medicine where she pursued a Mast of Science
in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Preventative Medicine
concurrently with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in
2002. Dr. Moore and her husband (also a veterinarian) had been practicing
veterinary medicine in the Mt. Washington Valley in New Hampshire before
relocating to North Carolina in the spring of 2006.
Dr. Moore works as a relief veterinarian for the Wilmington Animal Emergency and Trauma Hospital and has found a progressive practice with advanced diagnostics and treatment capabilities at Capeside Animal Hospital. She is very proud to have joined Dr. Hanby and her staff in May of 2009 and looks forward to a long future together.
