Capeside Animal Hospital News & Updates

Capeside Animal Hospital will serve as a drop off point for a food drive for the community in March. Each month on the fourth Saturday morning, over 120 families come to the local food bank at Closer Walk Church off of Village Road for food  distribution. Here is a list of what is needed the most at this time:

Canned meat
Canned veggies
Canned fruit

We will also accept pet food. All food must be received by 6pm on Monday March 18. Please help us aid those in need in our community!

On Sunday December 2, 2012 from 11am to 4pm at Splish Splash Dog Wash in Leland - come and get your pets' pictures with Santa!  This is an annual event that benefits Furever Friends Animal Rescue.  Photography is by Dick Parrott.  The cost is $25 and includes a 4x6 print with 6 thumbnail proofs and a high resolution CD with all 6 pictures, great for emailing, prints, or enlargements!

Call 910-232-1001 for more information!

Online Pharmacies tempt us with great prices for our pets' medications, but are we sure that our pets are getting the same high-quality medication that is available from our veterinarian?  Some sites are completely legitimate and safe to use, but some sites are not.  Check out this great article at and read their suggestions so that you can make sure that your pets are fully protected!
